The practice — September 2026

One operating standard, locally delivered

Why Mi5Star International was built around a single, accountable relationship — and what the five stages of the Mi5Star Standard mean for the clients who rely on it.

Security responsibilities are too often fragmented. One provider guards the office, another drives the principal, a third advises on travel risk, and no one is accountable for the whole. Mi5Star International was founded to end that fragmentation.

The practice brings corporate security, executive protection, secure mobility, protective intelligence and the oversight of residences and assets together under one relationship, delivered to the same standard in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Singapore and across the region.

That standard is applied through five stages. Every engagement begins with Assess — a confidential conversation and a considered reading of the client's circumstances. Design follows: a solution proportionate to the risk, aligned with governance, culture and duty-of-care obligations. Mobilise brings hand-selected, vetted and licensed professionals, briefed and deployed with precision. Operate is the quiet, reliable delivery clients see day to day. And Assure is the continuing oversight — measurable, compliant and audit-ready — that keeps the arrangement evolving as circumstances change.

The philosophy behind it is simple. Sound judgement, discretion and accountability matter most when the consequences of failure are highest. The practice works selectively, valuing long-term trust over rapid growth and enduring relationships over transactional engagements.

For organisations and private clients weighing their arrangements, the question is rarely whether each provider is competent. It is whether anyone is responsible for the spaces between them. That is the gap Mi5Star International exists to close.
