We operate with integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.

To deliver high-trust security, intelligent risk management solutions and asset stewardship that support people, operations, and reputations in sensitive or high-risk environments.

  • We prioritise trust and protection in every decision.
  • We do not compromise safety, confidentiality, or professional standards for speed, convenience, or commercial pressure.
  • We recognise that our work directly affects people, assets, and reputations and we conduct ourselves accordingly.

Our Vision

To be recognised as a trusted partner in security and resilience, known for our professionalism, discretion, and clarity of purpose.

  • Consistent professional behaviour in all operational and corporate environments.
  • Clear, measured communication internally and externally.
  • Conduct that reinforces, rather than undermines, the Company’s standing.
  • Decision-making that reflects long-term credibility over short-term gain.

Management heritage

Experience drawn from demanding environments.

Since 2019, Mi5Star has supported businesses, individuals and families across Asia-Pacific through individual assignments and ongoing operational commitments. Our work has included engagements in Shanghai, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, building practical experience of different operating environments and the coordination required when clients’ interests span several locations.

Founded by Jon Graves following a career in specialist UK policing, Royalty Protection and intelligence-led operations, Mi5Star draws on its senior management team’s combined 70 years of experience across military operations, policing and corporate security. This background informs how we assess situations, exercise judgement and carry decisions through into action.

Our company experience and leadership backgrounds underpin the values that guide our practice: precision, trust, accountability, readiness and respect. We apply these principles to each engagement, from protecting corporate environments and overseeing private residences to coordinating trusted advisers and specialist providers.

For clients, this means considered advice grounded in operational experience, clear responsibility for delivery and an understanding of the wider circumstances surrounding each requirement. We build lasting relationships by taking the time to understand what matters, communicating clearly and following through on the work entrusted to us.

Jon Graves

Founder & CEO

Jon founded Mi5Star with a clear belief: understanding a client’s circumstances is as important as understanding the risks they face. He has shaped the practice around that relationship, bringing advice, planning and operational support together so clients have someone who understands the wider picture and takes responsibility for seeing things through. As Mi5Star grows, Jon’s focus is on preserving the personal attention and continuity that make those relationships work.

Jim Sharp

Chief of Staff

Jim helps shape Mi5Star’s development and guide the business as it grows and evolves. He brings a perspective across the whole practice, connecting people, priorities and decisions so that each part of the business supports its wider direction. Drawing on four decades of experience across military, law enforcement and complex organisational environments, he serves as a trusted adviser to leadership, helping the team work through difficult questions and translate decisions into purposeful action.
